Description
When buyers search for an industrial 5G router factory, they usually want to know three things. What does the factory actually make? How consistent are the products that come off its lines? And how far can it adapt those products to a specific project? A datasheet answers none of these on its own.
This profile answers them for E-Lins, a manufacturer of industrial M2M and IoT wireless communication equipment based in Shenzhen. It covers the factory’s scale, the 5G product families it produces, the engineering baseline those products share, the customisation options it offers, and the delivery and support that follow an order.

E-Lins is a technology-driven manufacturer focused on the B2B industrial communication sector, and is one of the few professional manufacturers in China with independent R&D for both hardware and systems. SMT production, assembly, and software development therefore sit within one company, under one quality system.
What Comes Off the Lines: The 5G Families
The factory’s 5G output is organised into product families that share design principles and management, so buyers can mix them in one network.
Full 5G industrial routers
The flagship H900f Gigabit 5G Industrial Router supports 5G SA/NSA dual mode, Gigabit peak rates for 4K and 8K video and industrial big data, dual SIM hot backup with failover within seconds, and PoE++ for powering cameras and sensors. E-Lins lists it with three Gigabit and two Fast Ethernet ports, USB 3.0, a serial port, four DI/DO, Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6, and GPS/BeiDou. The compact H685f offers Gigabit Ethernet, a serial port, four DI/DO, and PoE In, and E-Lins describes it as EN 18031 compliant. Other members include the H900pf and H900uf.
5G RedCap routers and modems
For sensors, compact gateways, and edge devices that need 5G network access at lower cost and power than full 5G, the factory produces RedCap models including the H685frc, H900frc, H820frc and GPS versions, plus the H900pfrc RedCap modem with 4G fallback.
Industrial 5G modems
The H685f and H900f IoT 5G modems, together with GPS and eSIM variants such as the H685f-G, H900f-G, H900pf and H900uf, connect serial and Ethernet field equipment to 5G with VPN and remote management built in.
5G PoE routers
Models such as the H900f-P1, a dual SIM 5G router with PoE In, and the H685f-P1 with active PoE In can be powered over Ethernet, which suits installations far from a power socket. Where cameras and sensors need power from the router, the H900f provides PoE Out.
Outdoor and portable 5G
The H820QOf outdoor 5G CPE serves open-air sites, and the 5G MiFi and CPE line, including the MN10, MN20, MQ100, MQ50, CQ100 and MN40, covers portable and indoor broadband use.
Embedded 5G boards
For equipment makers, the H685f-B and H900f-B router boards bring 5G connectivity to board level, with the stated aim of shortening development cycles while keeping hardware integration flexible.

What Every Unit Shares
Whatever the model, products leaving the factory are built on a common baseline.
Industrial-grade components. Chips and components rated for a working range of -35°C to +75°C, with 15KV ESD protection and 1.5KV electromagnetic isolation. E-Lins reports an equipment online rate of 99.5% or higher.
Protected power. Many routers and modems accept 5 to 40V DC as standard, with a 5 to 60V DC option, through dual power inputs with automatic failover, and include protection against transients, reverse polarity, over-current, and over-voltage.
Firmware developed in-house. E-Lins develops 100% of its system software rather than relying on a generic public Linux distribution, with hardware watchdog timers and link self-healing mechanisms for automatic recovery. Firmware upgrades are free for life.
Common security and protocols. Support for WireGuard, IPsec and OpenVPN, with L2TP, GRE and DMVPN listed across the router families; APN and VPDN private networks; and Modbus, TCP/IP and industrial serial transparent transmission.
Common management. TR-069, SNMP and SSH, plus the E-Lins NMS cloud platform, which works with all E-Lins industrial routers and covers device status monitoring, parameter management, remote firmware upgrades and statistics.
Mechanical options. Alloy metal cases designed for vibration and shock on cabinet-mounted models, with desktop, wall-mount, and DIN-rail installation.
What the Factory Can Change for Your Project
Not every project fits a standard model. E-Lins provides OEM and ODM services for industrial cellular routers, wireless gateways, and related IoT hardware. According to the company, customisation can involve hardware structure, interface layout, firmware behaviour, brand presentation and enclosure design, along with labels, packaging and private-label presentation. It offers engineering review and production coordination for scaled delivery, and works with customers from early evaluation through product definition, testing and production preparation. The H685c customised core motherboard is one example of this board-level work.
This customisation draws on around 20 years of experience in wireless data communication, including ODM and OEM manufacturing for global brands.
From the Factory to Your Sites
Once an order is placed, the factory’s delivery and service model takes over:
Stock preparation typically takes 1 to 2 business days, and E-Lins reports a 98.5% on-time delivery rate for volume projects.
Deployment follows a standard cycle of 1 to 3 days, supported by configuration manuals, video tutorials, and one-to-one remote guidance.
Warranty is one year as standard and can be extended.
Support runs 7×24 by email, phone, WhatsApp, and WeChat, with an average response time of 10 minutes during business hours, plus packet capture analysis and remote debugging. E-Lins reports that 90% of issues are resolved remotely.
According to E-Lins, its modular interfaces and remote management capabilities improve integration efficiency by 50% and reduce on-site maintenance costs by 40%.
Output Proven at Scale
The factory’s products are documented in large deployments. A leading Indian telecom operator serving more than 230 million subscribers received more than 100,000 units for remote base station monitoring, reaching a 99.4% equipment online rate in heat up to 48°C and on supplies fluctuating between 5V and 55V. A European ground support equipment manufacturer serving airports in more than 100 countries achieved an online rate of 99.9% or higher with an E-Lins 4G and VPN solution. The company reports annual supplies of 10,000 to 20,000 units to carrier-grade projects and a 97% overall customer satisfaction rate.
Choosing an Industrial 5G Router Factory
The most useful way to judge an industrial 5G router factory is to look at the whole chain: what it designs, what it produces in-house, what its products share, how far it can adapt them, and how it supports them after delivery. For E-Lins, that chain runs from its own SMT lines and in-house firmware in Shenzhen to 5G routers, RedCap devices, modems, and boards in service across more than 150 countries and regions. Buyers can discuss standard models or project-specific versions directly with the factory through its support channels.
